Is new Titans GM Jon Robinson doomed from the start?

In Other Sports by Blake Lovell

The Tennessee Titans finally hired a general manager. The dude is actually really good.

Jon Robinson takes over after spending time as the Director of Player Personnel for the Tampa Bay Bucs. He also spent many years in New England as a part of the Patriots front office.

Yes, this guy worked with Bill Belichick on a daily basis. But are the Titans attempting to force him into working with Mike Mularkey going forward? It appears that way.

If Robinson was hired because he was the only one that would keep Mularkey, then the Titans might as well close up shop. It’s a terrible way to do business.

Here’s my latest story for Sports and Entertainment Nashville on this potential┬ádebacle for the ages.
