The college basketball world was shocked when former Tennessee, Southern Miss and Morehead State head coach Donnie Tyndall was hit with a 10-year show-cause penalty by the NCAA.
A few days after the dust settled, we had a chance to talk with Tyndall on our Marching to Madness podcast.
Needless to say, he was less than thrilled with the NCAA’s decision to come down on him so hard.
Obviously, with other high-profile investigations earning much lighter punishments, one has to wonder why Tyndall’s punishment was that harsh.
It was an intriguing discussion to say the least, as Tyndall discusses his side of the story.
