Dan Muller has helped Illinois State move up the Missouri Valley Conference ladder each season that he’s been at the helm.
Of course, my first exposure to Muller came when he was an assistant under Kevin Stallings at Vanderbilt from 2001-2012.
He without question has his alma mater heading in the right direction. They return four of their five starters from a season ago, and with Wichita State losing key players in their lineup, the Redbirds have a legitimate chance to win the Missouri Valley.
